The Northern Beaches Hospital is a Level 5 facility providing a range of services including emergency, interventional, intensive care, high dependency, coronary care, day surgery, medical imaging, maternity and birthing, special care nursery, paediatric inpatient, public and private inpatient units, renal dialysis and day medical facilities, ambulatory care, GP clinic, private consulting suites, mental health unit, clinical support, other support, and associated administrative and front of house services.
The hospital provides 488-beds including a 61-bed Mental Health unit, a 1400-space multi-storey Car Park, 41-space on-grade car park and ancillary precinct-wide development, including landscaping and road works.
The primary objectives of The Northern Beaches Hospital development is to deliver the best quality integrated health services and clinical outcomes to the community of the Northern Beaches of Sydney where public and private health care are integrated into a single facility to maximise the range and breadth of services available.
